Conservatory is thrilled to announce a one-of-a-kind workshop with
Hollywood Casting Director: ALEX
NEWMAN



UDK Casting
Director Alex Newman, will cast the upcoming, highly anticipated,
fourth season of "Glee" and the eighth season of the CW`s, Vancouver
based, hit show, "Supernatural". Alex has enjoyed nearly a decade
with casting powerhouse UDK (formerly known as Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer Casting).



UDK`s current
casting credits include: FX`s ?American Horror Story,? Lifetime`s ?Drop
Dead Diva,? CBS`s ?The Mentalist? and ?CSI,? and Showtime`s ?Dexter.



Audition
Theory Intensive:
Join Alex for a 3-hour acting class focusing on the audition process. This will
be a very small, intensive class. Space is LIMITED to 16 students per class and
will be separated by age.



What
to expect:
1. Breaking down the audition for TV shows and Pilots.
2. Critiquing auditions from the Casting Director`s point of view.
3. What Casting Directors look for in an audition.
4. What to do when you get called back.



** You may sing
for Alex if you choose. Prepare 16 bars a Capella. This is strictly optional
and not required.



We have 2
sessions per age group. Choose the time which best suits your schedule:

opportunity to receive coaching prior to the Alex Newman workshop. This
workshop will help you maximize your time with Alex and get the most out of the
Audition Theory Intensive. These workshops are being offered as an option only
and are not mandatory to attend the workshop with Alex.
